We are delighted to announce Dr. Victoria Lokko‘s appointment as the new Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, effective April 1st, 2025. This landmark appointment follows her exceptional leadership as Acting Managing Director since January 2024.

 Dr Lokko brings an impressive track record as a distinguished Paediatrician Specialist and Member of the West African College of Physicians and Surgeons (MWACP). With over 20 years of medical practice experience across prominent Ghanaian healthcare institutions, including Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military Hospital, she has established herself as a trusted healthcare leader who understands patient-centred care.

 Her journey with Nyaho Medical Centre began in 2007 as a part-time Specialist Paediatrician before transitioning to full-time in 2009 due to overwhelming patient demand. In 2011, she was appointed Medical Director by Mrs. Janet Tamaklo, our Emeritus Board Chair, a testament to the excellence she brings to every commitment.

 Throughout her years as Clinical Director in the private healthcare sector, Dr. Lokko has consistently demonstrated innovative thinking and a leadership style that values team competencies while providing strong direction. Dr. Lokko succeeds Dr. Elikem Tamaklo, who continues to serve Nyaho as Non-Executive Board Chair to advance our commitment to organisational stability and excellence in healthcare delivery.
