What is Serenity EMR about?

Serenity EMR (Electronic Medical Records) is a new hospital data management system designed to merge patients’ medical history into one central database to improve doctors’ understanding of individual conditions as well as their decision-making to provide comprehensive quality healthcare.

What’s In It for Me?

With the new Serenity EMR (Electronic Medical Records), patients can access their complete medical records, view prescriptions, and follow recommended lifestyle changes.

The system is flexible. It supports your total healthcare journey as an individual or a family by allowing integration with other 3rd-party systems and platforms.

Serenity EMR (Electronic Medical Records) also enhances the privacy and security of patient data.

It allows patients to receive follow-up support like reminders, weblinks, and specific self-care suggestions.

What’s Happened So Far?

We have successfully completed 50% of the migration process by moving all OPD services to this new platform. This means GP Consultations, Specialist Consultations, Diagnostic and Pharmacy Services are now provided through this new system.

The rest of our services – Emergency Room Services, In-Patient Services (including the Mother-and-Child and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – will continue to operate on the legacy system but will be migrated to Serenity EMR fully in 2022.

What Does This Mean?

OPD (out-patient department) clients may experience slightly prolonged processing times at the reception and cashiers’ desk during this transition.

For clients accessing diagnostic services, some details and test results may be processed manually (using paper forms) by doctors in the interim to ensure patients receive seamless care during this phase.

Nonetheless, we assure patients of maximum data privacy and protection even as we prepare the data for subsequent entry into Serenity EMR for reference during future consultations.

Corporate and insurance clients who have been onboarded to Serenity require additional one-time verification to complete the transition. This is necessary for more robust data protection.

This one-time verification is also required to capture information on corporate employees and insurance beneficiaries previously not included in our legacy system.

How can you help to make your care process easier?

If this is your first visit to Nyaho after December 24, 2021, we kindly request that you fill and submit the client verification form before you visit for prior processing Click on the link https://bit.ly/Nyaho_corp_insu… to fill the verification form.

Alternatively, if you have any challenges submitting the client verification form ahead of your visit, please try to arrive 15 minutes earlier to avoid a long waiting time.

Please note this delay will only be encountered on your first visit after December 24, 2021. Subsequent visits will be as smooth as they have previously been.
