BUSINESS UPDATE – COVID TESTING AT NYAHO MEDICAL CENTRE
Over the past 50 years, Nyaho Medical Centre has operated with the values of authenticity, commitment & accountability, professionalism and patient-centeredness to deliver the best care to patients.
In keeping with these values, the Centre has always sought to self-regulate, hold itself to the highest standard, and critically review its processes for continuous improvement in order to deliver the high level of care that our customers and patients have come to expect.
Our commitment to continuous improvement has guided the Centre even more in managing the current COVID-19 pandemic.
In light of the above, the Centre, recently proactively embarked on a robust routine continuous process review of its COVID-19 testing process through which an individual was found complicit in issuing a negative certificate for someone who did not take the test at all. This individual has been handed over to the appropriate authorities.
Nyaho Medical Centre wishes to reassure all stakeholders that testing for COVID-19 at the Centre is in full compliance with all regulatory requirements and the organisation enforces a zero-tolerance policy for any deviation from the process. All tests go through a very strict process of sample taking through to the issuance of a certificate when negative or placement of a telephone phone call by a doctor to the client should the individual test positive.
As Ghana continues to battle the Covid-19 pandemic, we encourage the public to adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols; wear your mask whenever you are leaving home, wash your hands with soap under running water, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers, keep physical distance when you are in public and as much as possible, stay home.
