Nyaho Medical Centre launches 45th Anniversary Celebrations
On Friday 2nd October Nyaho Medical Centre was delighted to launch its 45th Anniversary celebrations. The hospital was honoured to be joined by the Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Victor Bampoe, Dr. Nii Kpobi Tettah Tsum III The La Mantse, Reverend Canon J.A. Nelson of Ridge Church, Ambassador Irene Gaca of the Brazilian Embassy, Ambassador Timothy Walamba of the Zambian Embassy, Japanese Embassy Medical Representative Takatoshi Shimomura, Angolan First Counsellor Mr. Roi Ferreina, Administrator of the Ghana Health Service Mr. Manu Sarpong and many distinguished guests at the launch. As part of this great landmark, Nyaho Medical Centre also celebrates the commissioning of a new Integrated Hospital Information System to ensure that patients waiting time is considerably reduced. In addition to this, the hospital has upgraded and expanded its facilities to include a new CT scanner, C-arm, renovated theatre, additional consulting rooms, and renovated waiting areas.
Dr. Bampoe marked the opening of the new commissioning by cutting the ribbon with Dr. Elikem Tamaklo, Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre. Reverend Cannon Nelson graciously blessed each new addition with a prayer of thanksgiving.
In his inspiring speech, Dr. Tamaklo acknowledged that the principle of patient-centered care was the driving factor for the investments in the equipment and expansion projects, with the investments of new technology assisting in accurate and timely diagnosis. He announced that the Centre would continue to provide quality client-centered group medical practice in Ghana and beyond. Dr. Bampoe’s positive and motivating speech highlighted the hospital’s new acquisitions in establishing the fact that as a private medical facility, the Nyaho Medical Centre continues to be a leader in the health sector. He urged management to make the hospital a Centre of excellence for other health facilities, both private and public to emulate.
Upon launching the celebrations the hospital extends a huge thanks to all the staff at Nyaho Medical Centre for their continued hard work and diligence in making the hospital what it is today. In celebrating the past, we are inspired to look to the future as we move into a new era.
